Carrera 3147
The Carrera 3147 Dato was launched in 1966. It features a manual wind chronograph with date powered by a Landeron 189 movement. The first execution features the date at “12” with 45 minute register at “3” and running second hand at “9”. The dial options were either silver or black both with long steel hour markers and plain steel hands. The second execution dates to around 1968 and features the same Landeron movement with the date window move to the “9” position and a 45 minute register at “3”. This was available with either the plain silver dial or black dial with one white register. The classic Carrera case is the same as used by other models of this time period but is slightly thicker to accommodate the deeper movement.
