Mathey-Tissot Type 20
After WWII, the French military Ministry of Defence issued a solicitation for aviation watches, and asked manufacturers to respond to the tender. Breguet responded, and won the tender for a large number of the watches. Mathey-Tissot assembled the 5101/54 model for Breguet, and later produced both 2 and 3 register civilian models under their own name.
This example has a modified Valjoux 222 movement with flyback complication. The case is 38.5mm diameter with a matt black dial with luminous hour markers, 15 minute register at “3” position and running seconds at “9”.
