Triton Spirotechnique

La Spirotechnique is a large and well-known French firm which makes scuba gear, scuba sets and other breathing apparati. Over the years they have commissioned a number of watch manufacturers to produce branded and co-branded dive watches to be sold alongside their scuba gear. The Trition Spirotechnique was designed by J.Parmentier and produced by Dodane in the early 1960’s. The first reference was 143.100 with three lines of script above the “6” marker and was followed by this example, the reference 155.100 with two lines above the “6”. It has a 37mm diameter case with the crown at the “12” position and the hinged crown protection forming part of the overall case design. This example houses an ETA Calibre 2782 automatic movement which is unsigned.
