Montreal
The Heuer Montreal was launched in 1972. The first series powered by the automatic Calibre 12 came in 7 different configurations all in the oversized 42mm case with brushed top surface, smooth polished edge and flat mineral crystal. The exception is the black PVD coated case. Dials were mostly bright and colourful. This reference was available for four years and then replaced by a Valjoux 7750 in a new case and new dial design. The second generation Montreal lost some of the vintage Heuer feel and as a consequence it is less desirable than its predecessor.
