Autavia 2446 Tachy

The 3rd execution tachymeter dial is a rare and unusual variant seldom seen in the wild. The inclusion of the tachymeter scale on the dial of a watch with a rotating bezel was a first for Heuer and it was never featured in any of the sales catalogues from the period. This example also features an unusual 13 to 24 hour bezel. The hands are shorter than the standard 3rd execution to compensate for the hour markers being closer to the centre point to accomodate the outer scale. Apart from the dial and hands this is a standard 3rd execution case with Valjoux 72 movement signed Heuer Leonidas.
