Easy-Rider
The Easy-Rider was launched in 1971 and continued in the Heuer range until 1974/5. A variety of coloured cases and dials were offered including the top of the line Jacky Ickx version with the delightful helmet box packaging. The Easy-Rider was branded Leonidas on the dial but included the Heuer logo on the packaging. This coupled with a simple manual wind pin lever movement and one piece fiberglass case enabled Heuer to add this low cost line to offer some competition to the quartz invasion from the East. The movement is accessed from the front by removing the crystal and dial.
